Chapters 4 and 5 Maddie Resch

Atticus is saying until you go through what someone else does, you cannot judge them because it is hard to say how you would act in a certain situation until you are faced with that situation. The story looks like in Boo Radley's shoes/skin a lot of kids going around talking about him just because they hear rumors about Boo. If you were in Boo's shoes, you would look at everything differently because there is probably more behind his story  that other people don't know about.
