The 1930s Jorg3 D@ V1la and M@tthew Fri$one

The 1930s were trying times in the United States. The Great Depression happened, resulting in millions unemployed and an economic crisis. The Dust Bowl,a massive drought which occurred in mid-southern states, made it even harder for economic recovery. Racism was at it's peak in America, and groups such as the KKK flourished in membership, and essentially ran rampant. The first colored film, The Wizard of Oz, was created. In 1932, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected president. He created many social reforms, eventually resulting in economic thriving.
