Jim crow laws Mikhail S. George E.

The Jim Crow Laws were a set of racial restrictions that divided white majority groups from the minorities.  These laws were mainly enforced in the South.  Whites were superior to all minorities under these laws. For example, minorities were not allowed to use the same public facilities as the whites were. Black children were not able to attend the same prestigious schools, but were forced to attend smaller, rundown and second hand schools. These laws created hatred and further divided the races in the South.
