Scottsboro Boys Cole and Austin

The Scottsboro Boys were nine African American men that were accused of rape on two white women. The boys were hoboes riding on a freight train. They were taken to Scottsboro,Alabama and the news spread quickly. A lynch mob gathered at the jail but the sheriff protected them. All were convicted and sentenced to death.
